Red Sox Ticket Auction Winner Announced!
Congratulations to John McClellan of Marshfield, the highest bidder in the PMSG’s
recent auction for Boston Red Sox tickets!
Mr. McClellan will have the privilege of sitting in the grandstand seats for an upcoming Red Sox vs. Yankees game, hopefully being part of a great win by our Sox! His winning bid will help to fund the many programs the PMSG continues to sponsor, including sending out care packages to our local soldiers currently deployed overseas, and assisting families of soldiers in times of need.
Special thanks go out to WATD of Marshfield, for allowing us radio time to advertise this auction as well as Cathy Dee, DJ extraordinaire, for being our official (and fantastic) auctioneer!

Lt. David M. Walsh
Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Walsh of Pembroke received notice that their son, Lt. David M. Walsh, has been awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for his actions in battle in Baghdad’s International Zone.
The awards were presented in a small ceremony, after Lt. Walsh recovered from wounds he received on April 6th, 2008.
On that day, the zone experienced an
extraordinarily high volume of insurgent attacks with mortar and rocket fire. After suffering injuries from shrapnel, Lt. Walsh selflessly administered combat life saving techniques to others who were more seriously injured.
Lt. Walsh graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School, in Kingston in 1997 and then entered the Naval Academy where he graduated in 2003.
Christmas 2008
This past Christmas the PMSG sent out 40 caring packages 12 going to Iraq and 27 going to other parts of the world. The packages contained many goodies, electrtronic games, personal items, Christmas cookies, and Christmas decorations.
Many people gathered at the Bryantville Fire Station to help pack the boxes. Some of the people had brought special items to send. It was a fun night for all and spirits were high.
